Terms & Conditions

"We", "us", "our" refers to Red Eagle Plumbing & Heating, operating from Rainham, Essex, United Kingdom. "You" refers to the customer commissioning works. "Services" means any plumbing, leak detection, drainage, radiator, unvented cylinder or bathroom installation work we agree to perform.

For minor works there is no call-out fee. Work is charged at our published hourly labour rates (see the Pricing page), or, after on-site inspection, a fixed price may be agreed in writing. If the fixed price offered is not acceptable, work continues at the hourly rate instead. Free quotes apply to larger jobs only. Written quotes are valid for 30 days. Verbal estimates given by phone are indicative only and subject to on-site confirmation. Where unforeseen conditions are discovered (e.g. collapsed pipework, asbestos, hidden supply faults), we will pause work and re-quote in writing before continuing.

Payment is required on completion of works. Commercial invoices are payable within 14 days unless otherwise agreed in writing. Parking, congestion charges and tunnel crossings will be added to the invoice. Insurance reports are charged at the standard hourly labour rate.

We provide a 12-month workmanship warranty on all installation work from the date of completion. Parts are covered under their respective manufacturer warranties; where a part fails within that window we will typically replace it free of charge using the manufacturer's replacement. The guarantee excludes damage caused by misuse, third-party modifications, freezing or scale build-up where we have advised treatment that was not subsequently fitted.

You may cancel a booked appointment without charge up to 24 hours before the agreed start time. Emergency call-outs are non-cancellable once an engineer has been dispatched.

We carry £6 million Public Liability Insurance (PLI) covering our work across East London and Essex. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence).

Red Eagle Plumbing & Heating is not Gas Safe registered and does not install, service or repair gas appliances or boilers. Any work requiring a Gas Safe registered engineer falls outside the scope of our services.

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales and any disputes will be heard in the English courts.
